PLYMOUTH — One person was injured in one of two accidents in the 100 block of US 31 and US 30, Plymouth. The accidents occurred at 6:28 a.m. today, Dec. 28.
Steven Pritz, 45, Culver, was taken to Plymouth Hospital for neck and back pain.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, the first accident occurred when Pritz lost control of his 2007 Dodge Ram. Pritz was northbound on US 31 at the Lincoln Highway overpass, south of 9A Road. Pritz lost control of the vehicle on the overpass, drove into the grass median hitting a metal guardrail. The vehicle then rolled onto its top in the median.
A few minutes later Russell Trump, 60, Argos, was also traveling north on US 31 at the overpass in a 2000 Ford F150. Trump lost control of his vehicle, struck the concrete wall on the overpass and came to rest in the grass median.
The road conditions at the time were icy on the US 31 overpass.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS
