UPDATE — Fog was the cause of a two-vehicle accident this morning at CR 450N and CR 475E, Leesburg. One driver, Karin M. Short, 52, Leesburg, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital after complaining of neck and back pain.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy James Marshall reports Tiffany K. Makinson, 31, Pierceton, was northbound on CR 475E and failed to stop at the intersection due to the fog conditions. The Makinson vehicle struck Short’s vehicle. Short had been westbound on CR 450N when her vehicle was side impacted by the Makinson vehicle.
The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m.
No damage information was available.
LEESBURG — One person is being transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of East CR 450N and North CR 475E, south of Shoe Lake, Leesburg.
The accident involved a Ford Flex and an Infinity.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, North Webster Fire Department and EMS responded.
The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m.
