Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Friday, June 13, 2:07 p.m. North SR 13 and Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Drivers: Stanley G. Ogan, 66, Colfax Street, North Manchester; and James A. Pancake, 21, East 500 North, North Webster. Ogan said he didn’t see the red light and could not stop before hitting Pancake’s vehicle, which pulled into the intersection on a green light. Damages: up to $2,500

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Friday, June 13, 7:03 p.m. East Center and North Lindberg streets. Drivers: Adam K. Furry, 19, North Washington Street, Warsaw; and Lyrandah J. Bonewitz, 24, Summit Drive, Columbia City. Bonewitz slowed for stopped traffic and was rear-ended by Furry. Damages: up to $2,500
Friday, June 13, 6:32 p.m. 109 E. Winona Ave. Drivers: Keaton P. Schopf, 23, East Old Colony Road, Warsaw; and Judy M. Timmons, 51, South Main Street, Leesburg. Both drivers were backing from parking spaces when they collided. Damages: up to $10,000
Friday, June 13, 4:26 p.m. North Detroit and Lyon streets. Drivers: Christopher Haneline, 30, West Section Street, Milford; and Carrie A. Swihart, 20, West 100 South, Warsaw. Haneline was northbound on Detroit Street and looked down at his radio. When he looked up, he saw Swihart’s vehicle stopped, waiting to turn left, but could not stop in time. Haneline complained of head pain but refused medical treatment. Swihart and her 1-year-old child were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. Damages: up to $10,000
Friday, June 13, 11:32 a.m. 2211 E. Center St. Drivers: Kathleen M. Roig, 80, Roxbury Road, Valparaiso; and Leana F. Allison, 62, East Steven Drive, Warsaw. Roig could not recall what happened. Allison said she was westbound in the travel portion of the parking lot when Roig, who was southbound in an alley, did not stop and struck her vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000
Friday, June 13, 7:04 a.m. 315 N. Detroit St. Drivers: Christopher D. Lloyd, 34, 15th Street, Winona Lake; and Jill A. Debatty, 52, Shortridge Drive, Warsaw. Lloyd was backing from a parking space in the McDonald’s parking lot and struck Debatty’s vehicle. Damages: up to $1,000
