Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Wednesday, June 11, 6:54 a.m. Freedom Oil Express reported the theft of gas from their location in the 200 block of South Main Street in Leesburg.
- Wednesday, June 11, 1:08 a.m. Linda S. Kelch of Catholic Street in Pierceton reported the theft of a license plate.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Thursday, June 12, 1:59 a.m. After speaking with a suspicious person who seemed extremely nervous, officers completed a “free air sniff” of the exterior of a vehicle with a police canine and discovered marijuana inside the vehicle, which was located in the 900 block of Anchorage Road.
- Wednesday, June 11, 10:09 p.m. Police arrested Glenn Dutton for battery.
- Wednesday, June 11, 8:03 a.m. An unoccupied vehicle was found and recovered in Center Lake.
