Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

11:06 p.m. Friday, July 15, at North CR 175E, south of East CR 1300N, Milford. Driver: Riley S. Weber, 19, East Duffy Drive, Syracuse. Hit a deer. Damage up to $1,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:54 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Unknown. A woman was walking to her car in Meijer’s parking lot and noticed the rear driver’s side panel and bumper had white paint and a dent. Damage up to $2,500. A hit and run report was filed.

10:24 a.m. Sunday July 17, at South Cleveland Street and East Center Street. Drivers: Dylan M. Williamson, 16, East Main Street, Atwood, and William Arnett, 77, Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Williamson was turning at the intersection at South Cleveland Street. The light turned yellow while Williamson was still in the turn lane, he made the turn quickly and struck Arnett’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

2:06 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Dawn L. Reed, 45, Bond Street, North Manchester, Eiane E. Stout, 58, Prairie Street, St. Charles, Ill., and Nicole J. Meredith, 33, Forest Glenn Avenue, Leesburg. Stout stopped behind Meredith at a redlight, when Reed’s vehicle rear-ended Stout’s it caused her to rear-end Meredith’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

8:48 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at 822 N. Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Driver: John R. Denton, 34, East CR 850N, North Manchester. To avoid being part of a head-on collision Denton drove off the road into a mailboxes. Damage up to $10,000.
