PLYMOUTH — A third man in connection with the theft of items and power tools from Lowe’s in the 1100 block of Pilgrim Lane, Plymouth, has been arrested. The theft occurred on Dec. 26.
Parnell Fitzgerald Powell, 22, Benton Harbor, Mich., was located on Tuesday, Dec. 29, and arrested on charges relating to fleeing police. Powell allegedly is the registered owner of the white Ford SUV.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call on Friday, Dec. 26, that two men had allegedly entered the store and stole several items, including power tools. The men left the store property in a white Ford SUV. Officers located the vehicle in the area of US 31 and Sixth Road. One occupant, identified as Powell, fled from the vehicle on foot and was not located by police.
Lineson Fitzgerald Powell, 26, South Bend and Dedrick Murdick Cookbey, 25, South Bend, were arrested by police. The stolen items and power tools were recovered.
