UPDATE — Three persons, all passengers in one of the vehicles, were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital following the two-vehicle accident. Anna Long, 12, complained of pain to the abdomen/pelvic area; Heather Long, 45, Alpine Springs Drive, Vernon Hills, Ill., and Elizabeth Long, 15, both complaining of pain to the entire body, were those injured. The accident occurred at 7:24 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27.
The trio were passengers in a 2003 Honda driven by Kim J. Long, 45, Alpine Springs Drive, Vernon Hills., Ill. Kim Long was not injured.
Warsaw Police report Long was northbound on Detroit Street, wanting to go west onto US 30 and thought there was a green turn arrow and made a left turn. Long’s vehicle struck a southbound 2002 Chevrolet driven by Dylan S. Warren, 18, South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Long was not injured.
Damage was estimated up to $10,000
WARSAW — Warsaw Police, Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Department and Lutheran EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at US 30 and SR 15, this evening, Dec. 27.
One person suffered injuries according to initial reports.
