Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, South CR 400W, south of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Britani A. Ogan, 22, South SR 25, Mentone. Ogan attempted to avoid hitting a racoon in the road, lost control of her vehicle and went off the road hitting a tree. Damage up to $10,000.
8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, South CR 700E, south of East CR 750S, Pierceton. Driver: Joe L. Gibson, 26 East CR 800S, South Whitley. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
6:23 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, East Old Road 30, west of North SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Pamela K. Sowers, 67, Jersey Circle, Mishawaka. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
