Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:07 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, SR 15 and CR 1250N, Milford. Drivers: Devin C. Vanlaningham, 21, South Maple Street, Milford, and Ramona J. Kimes, 51, West CR 600N, Leesburg. Vanlaningham’s vehicle hit the back of Kimes’ vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
9:44 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Adam M. Eary, 33, East Nokomis Drive, Syracuse. Eary was fleeing from police at a high rate of speed and entered a parking lot at 308 S. Huntington. He could not make the turn, hitting a parked vehicle registered to Laurie L. Wright, North Harrison, Syracuse. Eary fled on foot but was apprehended. Damages up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:49 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, Glad Street, east of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew C. Brabec, 24, Glad Street, Warsaw. Brabec was backing from a driveway and backed into a parked vehicle registered to Coca Cola Enterprises, Lake Kathy Drive, Brandon, Fla. Damage up to $5,000.
2:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Ryan R. Mulberger, 35, Woodland Street, Wixom, Mich. Mulberger was attempting to back into a location to make a delivery when a train approached. He needed to get out of the way and started to back up quickly, colliding with a parked vehicle registered to Michelle E. Smith, North Sandpiper Drive, Warsaw. Damage up to $5,000.
2:56 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor C See, 16, East Old Road 30, Pierceton, and Jamie T. Kuhl., 39, West CR 350S, Warsaw. Damage up to $10,000. See was backing out of his parking space, and did not see a vehicle registered to Juan C. Rico, East Wellington Drive, Warsaw, parked behind him, hitting the vehicle, which was pushed into the Kuhl vehicle. Damage upt o $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:16 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, Kings Highway and Argonne Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Roni M. Mikesell, 47, East Wooster Road, Pierceton, and Judith Ness, 51, Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Brakes failed on Mikesell’s vehicle resulting in her vehicle hitting the back of Ness’ vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
