Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:04 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, North Detroit Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Edgar I. Salas-Mata, 32, South Union Street, Warsaw, and Junko Henderson, 45, West CR 900S, Claypool. Salas-Mata disregarded the traffic signal, hitting the Henderson vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
2:32 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, East Center Street, east of North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kevin Birge, 59, Wabash Avenue, Rochester, and Michael A. Honeycutt, 55, Parkway Drive, Wabash. Birge’s vehicle struck the rear passenger side of Honeycutt’s vehicle as he was changing lanes. Damage up to $5,000.
