10:42 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, North SR 15, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Sarah J. Alivia Cissom, 26, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:39 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, West Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew A. Owens, 26, East East Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Owens’ vehicle struck a vehicle owned by John H. McCarty, East CR 150N Pierceton. Charges of failure to stop after an accident and harassment are being sent to the prosecutor’s office. He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement and public intoxication. Damage up to $5,000.
3:43 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, West Winona Avenue, west of South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Daniel J. White, 25, White Industrial Drive, Warsaw, and Patrick W. Bucknell, 73, Abe Abernethy Road, Olympia, Wash. The brakes on White’s vehicle failed causing his vehicle to hit the back of the Bucknell vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, North Detroit and East Arthur streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Stephanie R. Shafer, 28, South CR 525E, Pierceton, and Heather L. Reece, 25, South Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw. Shafer complained of abdomen pain but refused medical treatment. Reece was cited for operating a vehicle without proof of financial responsibility. Shafer’s vehicle struck the back of the Reece vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
