UPDATE: Sheila A. Groninger, 44, est CR 100N, Warsaw, was checked at the scene by paramedics but was not transported to a hospital. Groninger complained of pain to the neck following a two-vehicle accident at 11:52 a.m.
The accident was at the intersection of North Lake and West Fort Wayne streets, Warsaw.
Groninger’s 2014 Ford was struck by a 2001 Honda Odyssey driven by Mary R. Felder, 86, West CR 750N, Shipshewana.
Warsaw Police report Felder was westbound on Fort Wayne Street. s she approached the intersection, she stopped, and checked for traffic. Felder told police she thought the way was clear to go and she started to turn north onto Lake Street. While turning her vehicle struck the rear passenger side of Groninger’s vehicle. Groninger was northbound on Lake Street.
Damage was estimated up to $2,500.
Warsaw Police have been called to the intersection of Lake and Fort Wayne streets in Warsaw for a two-vehicle accident.
Initially reported as a property damage accident, Multi-Township EMS has been called to the scene.
According to a Warsaw Police Department Officer at the scene, one person is being treated by EMS at the scene.
