A 39-year-old Spencerville man is in serious condition after a three-vehicle accident in Whitley County earlier this evening.
Whitley County Sheriff’s Department report the accident occurred at 5:03 p.m. on CR 950E at CR 150N. Adam M. Fogle, 39, Front Street, Spencerville, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Police report Gregory M. Barkley, 44, East Crescent Court, Churubusco, was driving his 2004 Dodge truck north on CR 950E. At the intersection of CR 150N he drove in front of motorcycles operated by Fogle and Brian Molitor, 35, Schwartz Road, Grabill.
Molitor was able to miss the truck after laying his motorcycle down, but Fogle’s motorcycle hit the truck after he laid it down. Molitor’s motorcyle and Barkley’s truck sustained minor damage. Folge’s motorcycle was listed as a total loss.
