Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
11:58 p.m Monday, March 23, Pierceton Road, east of East CR 400S, Pierceton. Chelsea R. Robison-Burkholder, 24, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Robison-Burkholder’s vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, and rolled over. She was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital complaining of pain to the knee and back. Damage up to $10,000.
5:27 p.m. Monday, March 23, North Fox Farm Road and North CR 150W, Warsaw. Drivers: Peggy D. Wilson, 71, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw and Richard W. Whybrew, 62, North CR 400E, Peru. Wilson turned onto Fox Farm Road hitting the Whybrew vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
2:58 p.m. Monday, March 23, West Pleasant Street, west of North Walnut Street, Etna Green. Drivers: Amanda C. May, 43, North Walnut Street, Etna Green, and Ryan J. Sutter, 31, Lincoln Highway, Bourbon. May’s vehicle slid through the intersection hitting the Sutter vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
1:58 p.m. Monday, March 23, North CR 175E, south of CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Harley A. Maples, 22, East Market Street, Warsaw. Lost control of his vehicle, hit a mailbox. Damage up to $2,500.
1:45 pm. Monday, March 23, North SR 19 and West US 30, Etna Green. Drivers: Margaret F. Clinger, 31, East Main Street, Monterey; William A. Kollman, 27, East Maple Street, Mentone; and Rufus A. Smith, 51, West Fifth Avenue, Gary. Clinger was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital to be checked. Clinger attempted to stop, slid into the intersection hitting the Kollman vehicle crossing US 30, which was in turn pushed into the Smith vehicle which was turning onto US 30. Damage up to $25,000.
1:41 p.m. Monday, March 23, East CR 200N, west of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Cesar Cuahuizo, 41, North Vicky Lane, Warsaw. Vehicle slid off the road and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.
1:02 p.m. Monday, March 23, North SR 19, north of West CR 1000N, Nappanee. Driver: Melissa T. Plumlee, 42, North SR 25, Rochester. Lost control of her vehicle, went into a ditch. Damage up to $5,000.
12:46 p.m. Monday, March 23, West SR 25, east of South CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Chase Schwinnen, 23, Southfield Road, Winona Lake. Lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, down an embankment, rolling onto its side. Damage up to $2,500.
11:39 a.m. Monday, March 23, West CR 900N, east North CR 625W, Milford, Driver: Mary L. Mullet, 41, West CR 700N, Leesburg. Mullet was eastbound on CR 900N, went off the road due to snow, hitting a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
6:47 a.m. Monday, March 23, South SR 15, north of West CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher L. Young, 18, East Smith Street, Milford. Swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle went off the road and rolled over. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
12:57 p.m. Monday, March 23, North Detroit Street and Petro Drive, Warsaw. Driver: David Villa, 23, East Market Street, Warsaw, and Theodore A. Kramer, 51, East McKenna Road, Warsaw. Villa failed to see the Kramer vehicle when he began to pull over to the right for an ambulance. Damage up to $10,000.
12;53 p.m. Monday, March 23, South Buffalo Street, south of Prairie Street, Warsaw. Driver: Mario A. Briseno Mosqueda, 26, West Market Street, Warsaw, and Amanda L Lincoln, 32, North Main St., Claypool. Mosqueda’s vehicle slid into the back of the Lincoln vehicle. Lincoln complained of neck pain and was taken to KCH.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:16 p.m. Monday, March 23, East US 30 and South CR 325E, Winona Lake. Drivers: Grant A. Uhlig, 33 East Wooster Road, Pierceton and Deana L. Eberly, 43, East CR 450S, Warsaw. Uhlig was attempting to make a turn off the highway when his vehicle left his lane causing the collision. Damage up to $10,000.
1:03 p.m. Monday, March 23, East US 30, west of CR 325E, Warsaw. Driver: Adam M. Rymanowski, 45, West Newport Avenue, Chicago, Ill. Rymanowski was unable to stop his semitractor for merging vehicles due to slushy roads, going off the road hitting a fence, light poles and steel compound bear. Damage up to $25,000.
