Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:36 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, North SR 13 and east CR 150N, Warsaw. Driver: Adam L. Bish, 40, Westlawn Drive, Ligonier, Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
2:53 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, North CR 1100W and CR 900N, Warsaw. Driver: Lynn J. Stutzman, 18, West CR 1100N, Nappanee. Stutzman lost control of her vehicle, went into a ditch hitting a large rock. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:55 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, Lake City Highway, east of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher L. Young, 18, East Smith Street, Milford. Young too his eye off the roadway to adjust the radio, when he looked up he saw he was about to hit the Meijer sign. His brakes locked up when applied and could not stop, striking the sign. Damage up to $2,500.
1:36 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Alyson L. Tucker, 28, Vintage Drive, Rochester, and Rodney K. Mayer, 56, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Tucker’s vehicle sideswiped the Mayer vehicle as she was changing lanes on Lake City Highway. Damage up to $5,000.
5:42 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, Lake City Highway and East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Heather A. Jones, 38, North Walnut Street, Etna Green, and Lawrence G. Richey, 58, West Prairie Street, Leesburg.
