Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
1:16 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 1800 West Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: James Gonsalves, 54, Colorado Street, Goshen, and Nathan J. Ohara, 28, Western Drive, Winona Lake. Gonsalves was backing out of a parking spot and did not see Ohara, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $5,000.
10:27 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 700 Orthopedic Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Tricia M. Frazier, 25, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Frazier was attempting to park when a sneeze caused her to hit a parked car. Damage up to $2,500.
9:56 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, North Lake Street, south of West Porter Street, Warsaw. Driver: Paul M. Austin, 41, East Joshua Drive, Warsaw. Austin was rounding a curve when his vehicle began to slide due to snowy conditions, resulting in a collision with a parked vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:
5:18 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, South CR 250E, south of East US 30, Winona Lake. Drivers: Cesar H. Rosales Gutierrez, 32, Sunset Drive, Winona Lake, and Katie A. Dilley, 28, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Gutierrez was turning and did not see Dilley pull in front of him, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $2,500.
