Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
3:27 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, SR 15 near CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Tobias R. Shivley, 31 Church Street, Claypool. Shivley lost control of his vehicle due to snow, slid off the roadway and rolled over. He refused EMS at the scene. Damages up to $5,000
8:38 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, SR 15 near CR 300S, Warsaw. Driver: Preston J. Moudy, 25, CR 350S, Warsaw. Driver struck a dog in the roadway. Damages up to $2,500
8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, CR 600S near Maple Grove Lane, Pierceton. Drivers: Billy H. Poe, 65, Channel Road, Warsaw; Ashley N. Vergon, 30, CR 800S, Claypool. Poe was trying to pull out of a driveway and lost traction, resulting in a collision with Vergon. Damages up to $2,500
8:09 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Anchorage Road near Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Amanda R. Treiber, 24, CR 900W, Mentone; David A. Chew, 38, Walnut Street, Claypool. Treiber lost control on the snow covered road and crossed the center line into the path of Chew, resulting in a collision. Damages up to $10,000

5:27 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Ross Ave. near Park Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Julio Reyes, 29, Vicky Lane, Warsaw. Reyes attempted to stop at a stop sign, but slid through the intersection, striking a large rock. Damages up to $1,000
4:41 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Detroit Street near Gilliam Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Ronald Smith, 65, CR 700W, Claypool; Donald R. Taylor, 74, Main Street, Warsaw. Smith hit Taylor’s car while attempting to change lanes. Linda Smith, 61, Claypool, the passenger in Smith’s vehicle, complained of chest pain due to the seatbelt. She was checked by EMS at the scene but refused transport to the hospital. Damages up to $5,000
4:36 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Lake City Highway near Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacquelyn Inman, 20, CR 600S-57, Churubsco; Sasha M. Foyle, 39, CR 900S, Cromwell. Inman was slowing at the intersection and slid into the rear of Foyle’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500
4:21 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Winona Ave. near Grant Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Rachel A. Merriman, 24, Chestnut Ave., Winona Lake; Richard A. Glass, 65, Country Club, Warsaw. Merriman was unable to stop and rear-ended Glass. Damages up to $2,500
4:14 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Jefferson Street near Robmar Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Noah M. Scott, 16, Superior Ave., Warsaw; William G. Sale, 50, Wildflower Court, Warsaw. Scott pulled onto Jefferson Street to avoid a sliding vehicle. In doing so he struck Sale’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500
2:52 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, Pope Street near McClellan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Terry J. Legrow, 41, Newport Ave., Fort Wayne; Sharmion M. Bowell, 41, Blossom Lane, Warsaw. Legrow rear-ended Bowell. Damage up to $2,500
