Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, North CR 100E, just north of the intersection at Raintree Road, Warsaw. Driver: Brandon L. Bolden, 22, Sophie Lane, Warsaw. Bolden slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
6:38 p.m. Feb. 3, SR 13 near Southshore Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: John W. Reynolds; Amanda E. Vetor. Vetor was attempting to avoid a collision with an out-of-control vehicle, not involved in the accident, and collided with Reynolds’ vehicle. No injuries were reported. A field investigation was conducted due to hazardous road conditions. Damages up to $5,000
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, intersection of Jalynn Street and Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Emeterio V. Velasquez; Raymond Wiggers. Velasquez struck Wiggers’ vehicle in the intersection. No report of injuries. Velasquez was cited for no valid drivers license. Damages up to $5,000
12:46 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, US 30 near South CR 250E, Warsaw. Driver: Donald L. Bissett, 65, Market Street, Pierceton; Brandon L. Seyer, 37, Franklin Street, Mentone. Bissett lost control of his vehicle and spun out, striking the driver’s side of Seyer’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000
11:19 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, Buffalo Street near Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Aaron C. Hurt, 38, Main Street, Crawfordsville; Stephanie I. Fisher, 43, CR 900W, Claypool. Hurt slid on the slushy roadway and rear-ended Fisher. Damages up to $5,000
9:38 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 300 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. Driver: Sandra E. Bonilla, 18, Highland Lane, Leesburg. Bonilla lost control of her vehicle, exited the roadway and struck two parked cars, one registered to Jon Moore of Akron and another registered to Michael Whitmore of Fort Wayne, in the Zimmer parking lot. Damages up to $10,000
8:24 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, Lake City Highway near Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Emily E. Deck, 27, Old SR 13, Pierceton; Daniel A. Smith, 33, Market Street, Warsaw. Both vehicles were westbound on Lake City Highway. Smith was stopping for the traffic light, and Deck was unable to stop, resulting in a rear end collision. Damages up to $10,000
