Jeremy L. Hall, 38, of Warsaw, was sentenced this past week in South Bend Federal Court to 97 months imprisonment with 15 years supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of distribution of child pornography.
According to documents filed in this case, on Feb. 27, Hall possessed a computer onto which he had downloaded numerous images and videos that depicted minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct (child pornography). He knew the images were child pornography as defined by 18 U.S.C. 2256, which defines child pornography as a depiction which “involves the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.”
Hall also admitted some of the images and videos were depictions of prepubescent minors or minors who had not attained the age of 12 years, and that some images depicted sadistic conduct.
He pled guilty to the felony offense in late June, early July.
