Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:06 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, Meijer Drive and Lake City Highway. Drivers: David M. Henry, 41, North CR 525W, Larwill, and Kathleen G. Sands, 20, North CR 200E, Milford. Sands complained of pain to the head and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Henry was in the eastbound lane of US 30 approaching the Meijer Drive intersection. He stated he did not see the traffic light was red and proceeded through the intersection. As he went through the intersection his vehicle collided with the right side of the Sands vehicle. Sands was westbound and was attempting to turn left at the time of the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
10:33 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, North Detroit and East Main streets. Drivers: Bobbie J. Stiles, 19, Tulip Road, Plymouth, and Sharon K. Stahly, 72, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Stiles could not stop in time for the traffic light and struck the Stahly vehicle which was in the intersection. Both drivers refused medical attention. Damage was up to $10,000.
