Officers with Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 175 East near 175 North, Warsaw. Driver: Deborah L. Eddy, 54, 200 North, Warsaw. Driver struck deer. Damages up to $2,500.
5:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 8600 block of Sunset Lane, Syracuse. Driver: Michael Hall, 25, 925 East, North Webster. Hall drove off the road. No damages reported.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:58 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, Pierceton Road near CR 275 East, Winona Lake. Driver: Garret L. Sommers, 22, Old US 31, Rochester. Sommers stated he swerved to avoid an animal in the road. His vehicle exited the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Winona Lake Fire Department, with assistance from Warsaw Fire Department, extricated Sommers from the vehicle. Sommers was treated for complaints of pain to his head, arms and lower back. Damage up to $50,000.
