A 13-year-old female entered a guilty plea to the charge of arson recently. The change of plea was entered during a juvenile delinquency hearing in Kosciusko County Superior Court 1.
Judge Duane Huffer stated he found factual basis for the admission of guilt and ordered a pre-dispositional report. The young female stated the accusations were “all true.”
The charge would be a felony if committed by an adult.
Charges stem from an Oct. 27 fire on EMS B33 Lane, Warsaw, when the teen allegedly started a fire in the home of her mother and step-father. (See Related Story)
The female teenager is being held in the South Bend Juvenile Detention Center.
A dispositional hearing is set for 1:15 p.m. Dec. 2.
